Problem of the Week

This is a magazine problem so I'll post their expert's advice next week. What would you do?

Problem 1

This scenario has was given by March's edition of Inside edge, its caused a fair bit of discussion in the office and i'd be interested to hear your views.

Playing short-handed $5/$10 no-limit hold'em with three others, there is a raise in first position to $40 and you reraise on the button with 7-7 to $140 from your stack of $4,500. The flop comes 10s 10d 7d and after a check you bet $140, which is called. The turn is the 9c and you bet $400 following a check. The river is the Jh and after another check you bet $1000. Your opponent, a tight-aggressive player, raises $3000 to put you all-in.

Do you Fold or Call?

Not as straight-forward as it may seem.
