Looks remarkably similar to last week's problem! |

Look again.
I agree there are cards involved. And an all-in bet. |

All in - absolutely!
I refuse to be bullied! - Take note Lisa
I reckon the opponent wouldn't just check if a straight draw was on the cards. |

The old one was stuck on my screen. Found it now.
Unlikely to be bluffing, his initial raise indicates he has something reasonably good.
I'd be thinking has either TT, KQ, JT or JJ.
I'm going to think about this on my way home! |

Ah. With you. Thought they were pretty different.
Of the hands you have put him on 3 of them beat our full house! |

I think he has JJ, possibly JT. He's tagging along with your bets because he reckons you have a high pair. Alternatively, the unlikely situation of him holding TT is also possible, so he knows you have a good pair and wants you to lead. KQ is unlikely as KQ TT7 is a long shot for a straight from the flop.

It looks to me as if my opponent has 3 x 10's and has laid a trap. |

This is the answer as the magazine sees it.
Quote: | FOLD. This is a very tough laydown in the circumstances, but unless you are playing with a maniac or a genius there is virtually no hand you can beat that would make this play. Essentially all you have is the bottom full house and the playable combinations of cards that make a higher full house for your opponent are myriad - plus he has played to trap you for the maximum, deducing you also have a very big hand.
