A little situation came up for me yesterday:
Down to five players in a 2 table, 20 player tournament. You've just seen a player knock out two others, he therefore has a large stack (about 5000 to your 1500, with minimum bet 200).
The next hand is dealt, you get
You put in a small raise under the gun (400), the big-stacked player calls, everyone else folds, and the flop comes
You then bet another 400. He re-raises you all in.
Call or fold?

changed it. You're under the gun, and it's just you and the player with the big stack. |

it's a tough call. you're either gonna bust out or double up.
depending on my stack i would have called, although he could have trips or two pair quite easily. |

I think you should have gone all in after the flop!
You have top pair with the best possible kicker and a back-door nut flush draw. This is a monster hand heads up.
I'd be happier putting him all-in than having him put me all-in!
Would he call your initial raise with KJ? Possibly but you have one king and another is on the table so it is less likely that he has one. The other scary holding would be AA but he called your raise with three players to act after him. Would have been better to re-raise to isolate you rather than slowplay the bullets.
K4 or J4 would also beat you but he would probably not call a raise with such a poor kicker with three players still to act.
I think he has JQ or JT and is playing middle pair and a straight draw. If so you are way ahead but even if he has you beaten you have outs.
Call.
