Yes.. figured I was prob ahead and needed a double up. But check it out - two hands later i've doubled again to 60k. Makes up for not getting a hand since November. |

Well, I think i'm about to exit, stage left.
I've hit 2 pair on a Board: 8s 9c Qd Ac
Obviously i'm a bit worried about the straight, but i've been put all in, and with $93000 in the pot, I think it's too much to fold to.
Will ponder on it today, but as Han says whilst sitting in the Trash compacter, "I've got a bad feeling about this" _________________ "Look into my eyes, look into my eyes..." |

OK, I've done my research.
My initial reaction was to call the all in.
Then I though I shouldn't be so hasty, so I'd spend some time thinking about it.
I'm up against 2 players, both of which have been fairly loose in their play.
They both like betting out after the flop, often without hitting it.
One player always plays to the river.
I'm hoping both of the are on straight draws, or have high pairs (10 10, J J).
One of the players had J 10 a few hands ago, so i'm hoping statistically he's not got them again.
I'm dreading a player having made a set already, or holding A Q.
All in all, i've quite enjoyed it this year. I got some good cards at the start of the tourney, but since the antes have been introduced i've had rubbish. This forced my to change my play a little, and ended up doubling up as a result.
But it's come to this. The juicy pot is too big to turn down (winning it would put into the top 30!!).

Am out in 455th place.
It was a bit of a gamble, but the pot would've been worth it.
Down to you 3 now.

Unlucky Chris.
Top and bottom pair is always a bit risky and on that board there were lots of ways to lose.
I can't remember the last time I played a hand. somethings got to come along soon.
Same time next year? |
