Gonna be the only one I can do (and probably Anton too) until the end of February - would be nice to have a game! |

Is anyone around this Sunday? No Crucible rehearsals on Sundays as yet, so would like to make the most of it. |

I'd love a game, but don't think I can make it.
Will have a look here on Sunday though, and if anyone else is confirmed then i'll see what I can do. _________________ "Look into my eyes, look into my eyes..." |

Fairly sure Anton & Matthew are up for a game. Chris may, depending on what time his rehearsal is ... |

Was good to see everyone last night, I really enjoyed being down the bar, and those two table games are fun!
Probably my last game of poker for the year though, unless I can find any pub games in Edinburgh. _________________ "Look into my eyes, look into my eyes..." |

Matthew was asking whether anyone was playing this Sunday. I can't 'cos of Crucible rehearsals but can someone let him know via email if there is a game? He's had a couple of people asking him but has no access to this site ... |

I notice there is currently no one on the bar for this coming Sunday (18th), which means that although the space may be open but the bar won't be (not even as an honour bar) under the new rules.
What do people think? Bring our own? |

After the confusion and non-attendance of various peeps on Sunday, could each player please let someone who is definitely going to be there (or post on here) whether they are playing each week? We didn't start till well after 7.30 this week waiting and waiting for people, some of whom didn't show up. It's all very well being blinded in, and we all have to do it from time to time, but when there are five people sitting there waiting for seven expected players, it gets a bit ridiculous! |

Hmm doesn't seem like anyone logs into here much any more! i think if we make a house rule that everyone is aware of that the game should start no later than 7.30. Perhaps if we are definitely expecting someone then we blind them in until, say, 8.15 or 8.30, but if someone says they may be coming then, depending on the number of players, we may or may not blind them in.
The two table thingy is something we could keep as it makes for a much better game; it seems to take about 8-10 hands for every blind level increment and with that 12-hander the other week it was silly cos there were times when the blind level went up twice before the button got back to certain players. |
