A couple of recent situations; both fairly similar

1.

6 handed single table game, about 10 hands in.

I’ve got K2o on SB.

Folded round to the button (playing quietly), who calls; I call, BB (playing aggressively/loosely) checks, pot size 120 (3 x 40)

Flop comes K-6-8 rainbow; I bet out 120; BB immediately jams the pot; button folds.
Winning puts me on 2,500 chips; losing on 300.

2.

Multi table game, still early with a few hundred players still left.

A4 of spades about halfway round the table; player to the left (playing loosely) calls; SB calls and BB checks; pot about 180.

Flop is Ah-Td-6h. I bet out 150, the player to my left goes all in; both blinds fold. If I call and win I increase past 2000; lose and end up with 700.
