Sorry again about not making Sunday.

We are not going to be able to play again this Sunday, but were wondering if there was interest to play on Saturday evening? I'd like to try a HORSE tournament for low stakes (maybe a couple of quid max), so that we could practice these other games.

Was thinking in the bar about 7 or 730. I think the commemorations for JBA should be finished by then.

What I suggest is a deeper starting stack (say 2000 chips) and one round of each of the following with the usual blind increases:

Limit Hold Em
Omaha
Razz
Seven Card Stud
No Limit

(no high low games, all high)

Anyone interested? If we got 6 at least it could be fun.

Oh no! I'd love to... but I'm up in Cumbria this weekend. Another time perhaps.

I'd love to do this and really fancy a game of HORSE sometime but we cannot make Saturday night unfortunately.

Better start learning! Omaha's the confusing one, stud is easier and razz easier still.

I'm afraid you'll have to teach us on the night. Working tomorrow, rehearsing tomorrow night, JBA's funeral on Saturday!

we'll have some practice hands to explain everything before we play, none of them are that taxing, the object of the evening is for us all to learn them anyway. we can host if it's six or seven as looking likely. lisa, me, mark, mark's bro and helen and chris, waiting on others to let me know

Thanks to Paul + Lisa for hosting last nite.. a marathon event! Hopefully it's given an insight into the other main poker games.... and if anybody ever wants to play any of them ever again! (I do).

I was quite getting into Omaha, I must say, but could probably survive without playing either of the 7-card games again ... particularly Razz.

But a jolly enjoyable evening - thanks to Paul & Lisa for hosting and providing food. Sorry we couldn't make it to the end!

.. sure you don't want to try Ace to Six or Deuce to Seven lowball where straights and flushes do count ? Cool
