I'd be interested in the outcome of this.

Unfortunately the article doesn't mention if it is limit or no limit hold 'em which makes a difference.

I would imagine that it would be quite possible to write a winning limit program as the play is generally more rule based and easy to automate. No limit on the other hand is much more creative.

If anyone hears any more about this please update here.
